Hi, just a quick thought…

Jargon is great, it can really make discussion quicker: how much easier is it to say ‘upper left’ or even ‘UL’ than to explain what UL means! But then it also means people who aren’t so familiar with integral will have a more difficult time. How best should we address this do you reckon, always explain things the long way, just assume everyone that comes here to be familiar with integral, create a page or ‘sticky’ post to explain integral and the jargon, or something else?

I’m sure there’s an Integral glossary and basic descriptions out there we can attach or link to.

Here’s a intro to AQAL thats part of the free content on integrallife:

http://integrallife.com/node/37539

or the wiki page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Wilber#AQAL:_.22All_Quadrants_All_Levels.22

I’m sure there’s lots more out there…

Thanks Owen, that is useful.

I might at some point make an introduction to the forum that includes those links and other helpful things to get people started.
